Welcome Back Timberlake Students!
To ensure the safety of our students and help ensure that we can safely continue in-person instruction, Timberlake has made changes to our Drop off, Pick up, and Visitor procedures. Please keep in mind that both sites will open their doors no earlier than 7:40 am. Students will have their temperatures checked before entering the school building or a school vehicle. Students with a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will not be allowed in the vehicle or building.
Elementary students will use 3 separate entrances before school. Bus riders will be dropped off from the bus parking area next to Mr. Grider's office. Students walking to school or being dropped off will enter through the doors on the south side of the school, west of the gymnasium. This will allow for temperatures to be taken. Pre-K parents wanting to walk their children to the school can enter the gate on the west side of the school nearest the Pre-K building and hand them off to Timberlake staff outside their classroom building. Visitors will not be allowed into the school buildings. Visitors, including parents, will need to call ahead and check in at the office doors. Students will be retrieved from the classroom by office staff and brought to parents if needed but visitors will not be allowed to go beyond the office. We encourage communication with teachers, but we ask that anyone needing to meet with staff call ahead to schedule a time where this can be done in an office area.
HS Students will enter at the entrance nearest the office upon arrival to have temperatures checked and put items away in their lockers. Students can then go to the cafeteria for breakfast or wait outside (weather permitting) until the 8:05 bell rings. Carmen route riders will be able to eat breakfast upon arrival. Visitors, including parents, will only have access to the office area. No visitors will be allowed throughout the building or in the cafeteria. If a student is needed, they will be brought to the office by a staff member.
