Timberlake Public Schools will be taking a snow day and all activities have been cancelled for tomorrow. We will wait to reschedule events until we are back in school and will share details as soon as they are available. The 5/6 basketball games scheduled for Wednesday with Okeene have also been cancelled to allow Okeene to finish their HS tournament from last week.

Due to the predicted timing of incoming weather, it has been decided to postpone the Timberlake BOYS consolation game vs Cherokee tonight. The GIRLS will still play their game at 12:40. The plan is to reschedule the boys game on a date to be determined. We believe the issues with Skordle have been resolved so the plan is to stream the girls game at timberlaketigers.tv
The 5/6 grade Regional Academic Meet that was originally scheduled for Sat. Jan. 24th has been postponed until Feb. 7th.
With the incoming weather, coaches and administrators have decided to go ahead and play the 3rd round of the Cherokee Strip Tournament tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 23. The schedule will be as follows: Championships 10:00am and 11:20am, 3rd Place 12:40pm and 2:00pm, and Consolation 3:20pm and 4:40pm. There will not be any 7th/8th Place games. With the boys win today, they will play at 4:40pm. The girls gametime will depend upon the result of tonight's game.

The Cherokee Strip Tournament kicks off today with the Lady Tigers playing Burlington at 3:20 PM. The boys will follow with their game against Medford at 4:40 PM.

The Cherokee Strip HS basketball tournament has been moved up to begin tomorrow due to the weather potential this weekend. Games are currently scheduled to be played on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday of this week. The most likely contingency plan if games cannot be played as scheduled on Saturday is to play them on Monday at Medford's new gym with the JH tournament games on Monday being moved to Medford's old gym. Congratulations to our HS Academic Team for placing 2nd today at the Cherokee Strip Conference Academic Bowl Tournament! Jude Vassar was named the Timberlake Team All-Star. Also, Kaidy Watkins and Taylor Powell competed in their final game today. Help us congratulate these two Seniors on their time and effort invested in the Academic Team over the last four years.
