Timberlake Schools

We have had an overwhelming response for items for our Blessing Bags. We have added names to our list and are in need of more Christmas Bags. If you have any you could spare or would like to donate, you can send those to the high school. We plan to do deliveries this Wednesday, so would like to have them by the end of the day on Tuesday. Thank you to all those that have made our Blessing Bags a reality! Merry Christmas!

Elementary Christmas Spirit Week dress up days.

Congratulations to both basketball teams for bringing home 3rd place in the PCH tournament. The JH/HS Tigers are back in action on Tuesday @ home vs Canton @ 4:00.

Both basketball teams will be playing for 3rd tomorrow in the Pond Creek Hunter tournament. Girls will tip off at 2:50 and the boys will begin at 4:10. Come and support both teams. Updated brackets are posted below. Go Tigers!

Thank you to our community and to family and friends of all of our elementary students for supporting our school carnival. These staff and student shirts were purchased using some of the proceeds. Thank you to the Finney's and Country Road Ink for doing a wonderful job on the shirts.

Congratulations to the Tigers and Lady Tigers for both winning their 1st round games in the PCH tournament today. The Tigers will face Covington Douglas tomorrow at 4:10 and the Lady Tigers will face PCH at 5:30. Updated brackets are posted below.

Pond Creek-Hunter will be streaming all tournament games this week at https://www.youtube.com/user/PCHPanthers/live. CTB Sports will also be broadcasting every game of the tournament on 1390 & 1640 am and the CTB sports app. We may stream Saturday's games on Tiger TV but will not today or tomorrow. We hope you can come out and support the Tigers and Lady Tigers. Good Luck to both teams!

Congratulations to the elementary November Star Students Bearett Johnson, Mason Decker, & Ellie Campbell - Pre-K; Piper Kirkpatrick - Kindergarten; Trent Jones (not pictured) - 1st grade; Emma Stephens - 2nd grade; Danielle Redman - 3rd grade; Violet Rennicke (not pictured) - 4th grade; Brooklyn Johnson - 5th grade; Holly Hickman, Kaylynn Redman, & JW Morrison - 6th grade. Jackson Stephens was the Kindergarten Star Student for October.

Christmas program is this evening @ 7:00 in Jet. Doors will be open at 6:30. Students need to get to classrooms between 6:30 and 6:45.

Support the senior class and buy some chocolate covered pecans tonight at the basketball games. JH @ 4:00 and HS @ 6:30. Go Tigers!

6th grade wrapped up their month long Holocaust unit today. They ended the unit with group timeline presentations.

The Timberlake Student Council will be sponsoring Blessing Bags again this year. 7-12 Students, please have your items here by Friday, December 8, so that we can prepare the bags! Remember--students can gain points towards semester test exemption by providing items.

The elementary is going to have a Christmas spirit week the week of Dec. 11th. See the flyer for specific details.

Tomorrow evening the HS basketball teams will kick off their seasons. 7/8 girls and boys will play DCLA at 4:00 and then HS girls will tip off at 6:30 with boys immediately following. The theme for the game is white out. Please come support our student athletes.

Conner Severin and Ava Jokerst, HS FCCLA students, presented their STAR Event to the 3rd/4th graders today. STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition, our event is Focus on Children. Our title is " A Balanced Mind' and is based on the positive effects of yoga in children. We partnered with Megan Ferrell from the Alfalfa County OSU Extension Office; where Megan is the OSU Extension Educator for 4H and Family and Consumer Sciences. Both classes learned about the benefits of yoga and got to practice a few yoga moves.
