Timberlake Schools

Timberlake Athletics will host Meet the Tigers this Thursday, August 25th prior to the High School Football game. We will begin our recognition at 6:15. Coaches will be informing their athletes of their expectations. We will be recognizing all athletes involved in a Fall sport, both elementary and secondary. Please make plans to attend and recognize all of our athletes. Students being recognized will be admitted free of charge but parents and others will be charged normal admission.

The JH softball game vs Medford tomorrow at 4:30 in Helena will have a limited concession stand consisting of candy, chips and drinks.

Softball shirt order forms are due tomorrow, August 23rd at 8:30 am. Get your orders turned in soon!

Football Theme Weeks

HS softball festival at Covington/Garber is this Friday (26th) and Saturday (27th). There will be no admission charged and there is no concession stand so you are welcome to bring food and drink. Go Lady Tigers!

Reminder HS Football Scrimmage tonight in Jet. Admission to the scrimmage is by donation. We are asking that those who attend please donate Gatorade, Powerade or bottle water. Everything donated will be used by the football teams. Go Tigers!!

Families can register their grade 7-9 children for free online math tutoring through the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Below is the link to get signed up by Sept. 1st. https://sde.ok.gov/math-tutoring-corps

The first JH/HS FCA meeting is during lunch tomorrow. We are bringing in pizza for anyone that brings $5 and signs up in the office first thing tomorrow morning.

Due to scheduling oversight, we need to reach out to the JH/HS softball parents to let them know that we are scheduled to play softball games at Okeene tomorrow starting with our JH @ 4:30. High school will start tomorrow immediately following. JH uniforms will be checked out tomorrow during their athletic hour. There will not be a game with Alva. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused!

Congratulations to the Lady Tigers softball team they are the Cherokee Strip Tournament runner-up!! They have played some great ball the last two days. Keep up the good work!
